Careers | Screen Making Operator I

The Sericol Unit of the FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division has two (2) immediate Full Time openings for the position of Screen Making Operator I. The responsibilities of this position include the following:

SELECTION CRITERIA

Determine and obtain materials to be used on a specific job order
Record into the system raw materials used to maintain accurate inventory levels
Follow job specifications to consistently stretch screens in accordance with the specified stretching and gluing procedures to pass quality control checks
Reclaim incoming frames by grinding, scraping, soaking or removing mesh, ink or adhesives prior to the stretching process
Cut off excess mesh and reams register pin holes in the frame prior to quality checks
Prepare screens for packaging and shipping
Clean work area at the end of shift in accordance with good housekeeping practices and to maintain a safe environment
Handle other special projects as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be a high school graduate with the ability to learn the screen making process. The person needs to be detail oriented, self-motivated, and very quality minded. They should have basic computer literacy with basic verbal, reading and writing skills and be a team player. The position operates within the framework of established company policies, procedures and practices to solve process problems while producing and reclaiming screens.
